The National Weather Service In Sterling Virginia Has Issued A Wind Chill Advisory…Which Is In Effect From Midnight Tonight To 9 AM EST Tuesday.

Skies Have Cleared Across The Mid Atlantic This Evening. Clear Skies Combined With Snow Cover Will Allow Temperatures To Fall Into The Lower Teens And Single Digits Overnight. Northwest Winds Will Continue At Speeds Of 10 To 20 Mph. This Will Produce Wind Chill Values As Low As 5 Below Zero Overnight Into Tuesday Morning.

A Wind Chill Advisory Means That Very Cold Air And Gusty Winds Will Combine To Generate Low Wind Chills. This Will Result In Frost Bite And Lead To Hypothermia If Precautions Are Not Taken. If You Must Venture Outdoors…Make Sure You Wear A Hat And Gloves.
