THE WORST OF THIS WINTER MAY STILL BE LURKING BUT YOU CAN RING IN 2011 WITH SHORTS !!!

NEW YEARS EVE: PARTLY CLOUDY AND VERY MILD LO: 26 HI: 54

NEW YEARS DAY: MOSTLY CLOUDY AND STILL VERY MILD LO: 30 HI: 58

SUNDAY: CLOUDY BUT MILD EARLY FOLLOWED BY AREAS OF LIGHT RAINFALL DURING THE AFTERNOON LO: 43 HI: 48 (FALLING PM)

MONDAY: MOSTLY CLOUDY AND MUCH COLDER WITH A FEW MORNING SNOW SHOWERS AROUND BUT LITTLE OR NO STICKAGE IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME LO: 32 HI: 42

TUESDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY BUT BREEZY AND STILL RATHER COLD LO: 28 HI: 44

NOTE: MUCH COLDER WEATHER IS LOOKING MORE AND MORE LIKELY FROM ABOUT JANUARY 10TH THRU JANUARY 31ST … WE ALSO HAVE AN INCREASED RISK FOR MULTIPLE 2 TO 4 INCH SNOWS EVERY FEW DAYS OR PERHAPS EVEN THE POSSIBILITY THAT ONE OF THESE STORMS MAY SLOW DOWN AND INTENSIFY TO BECOME A STRONG NOREASTER DROPPING A HEAVY SNOWFALL ALL ACROSS THE MARYLAND AREA … IN GENERAL THIS SNOWY PATTERN SHOULD BEGIN ON JANUARY 10TH OR SO AND CONTINUE FOR ATLEAST 10 DAYS … BTW HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

"WEATHER OR NOT"

FORECASTER: SCHLEY …
